Pressure ulcer is the most frequent chronic wound a the end of life. A realistic objective should be defined for a better quality care. It is essential to determined if healing may be obtained or not, and if a wound stabilisation, preventing complications, affecting symptoms and pain would not be a better outcome. In order to achieve the objectives, the porgnosis assessment, and specifically healing prognosis and quality of life of the patient must be associated with a permanent ethical reflexion from the team, the patient and his/her surrounding family.
