Tumeur stromale gastro-intestinale

Stromal tumors are relatively recently classified gastro-intestinal tumors, which develop from Cajal cells. Most often, anemia, melena and hematochezia are the inaugural signs of these tumors. On imaging, they frequently appear as exophytic and well limited tumors. They may be either hypo or hypervascular or necrotic depending on their degree of malignancy.
