First chemical study of anaspidean Syphonota geographica: structure of degraded sterols aplykurodinone-1 and -2

Two novel degraded sterols, e.g. aplykurodinone-1 (1), have been isolated from the skin of sea hare S. geographica from Greek coasts. The structure and the absolute stereochemistry have been established by spectral methods and chemical correlation with related compounds.
