Introduction to solid polymer membrane fuel cells and reforming natural gas for production of hydrogen

The basic principles of the solid polymer (PEM) fuel cell with special emphasis on catalysts for hydrogen generation are presented. The role of catalysts and the improvements needed are discussed.
