Epoxidation of 1,4-diallyloxybutane to 1-allyloxy-4-glycidyloxybutane by the method of phase transfer catalysis

Two different catalytic systems were used: phosphoric(V) acid - sodium tungsten(VI) dihydrate (PO43−/WO42−) and phosphorotungstic acid hydrate H3PW12O40. Methyltrioctylammonium chloride under trade name Aliquat®336 as phase transfer catalyst was used. The process in the presence of an auxiliary solvents was carried.
