Association of tumor necrosis factor-alpha gene promoter polymorphism and its mRNA expression level in coronary artery disease

Although there was no significant association between TNF-α -238 G > A polymorphism with TNF-α expression level and pathogenesis of CAD in the studied population, The TNF-α (−308G > A) gene polymorphism was associated with its expression and development of CAD.
