آشنایی با موضوع

انرژی پیوند ( به انگلیسی: Binding energy) مقدار انرژی لازم برای شکستن یک مول پیوند و تبدیل آن به دو مول اتم جدا از هم گازی انرژی پیوند نامیده می شود که همواره مقداری مثبت است. قدرت یک پیوند به جاذبه بین الکترون‌های پیوندی و هسته های شرکت کننده بستگی دارد در حقیقت انرژی پیوند یا آنتالپی پیوند مقدار انرژی لازم برای غلبه بر این نیروهای جاذبه است. چند عامل در انرژی پیوند موثر است: 1 - طول پیوند 2- جرم اتم ها 3 - قطبیت پیوند 4 - دافعه زوج های آزاد و دافعه هسته ها 5 - ازدحام فضایی یا کشش زاویه ای 6 - نوع همپوشانی واوربیتال هیبریدی 7 - دوگانه یا چندگانه بودن 8 - رزونانس 9 - بارها ی جزئی روی اتم ها 10- تشکیل پیوند های هیدروژنی بین مولکولها: پیوند هیدروژنی فرکانس ارتعاشی راکم می کند و پیوند دیرتر می شکن در مورد مولکول دو اتمی انرژی تجزیه یا دیسوسیاسیون عبارتست از تغییرات آنتالپی واکنش که در طی آن مولکولهای دو یا چند اتمی در حالت گازی تبدیل به اتمهای مربوطه می‌شوند. برای مثال: یا به عبارت دیگر، انرژی دیسوسیاسیونعبارتست از مقدار انرژی لازم برای شکستن پیوند. جهت عناصر واقع در ستونهای جدول تناوبی (مثلاً فلزات قلیایی) انرژی پیوند با افزایش عدد اتمی فلز کاهش می‌یابد و در مورد هالوژنها نیز همینطور است ولی در مقام مقایسه با فلزات قلیایی انرژی پیوندی مولکولهای دو اتمی هالوژنها بیشتر است. جدول زیر انرژی دیسوسیاسیون مولکولهای دو اتمی را برحسب معلوم می‌دارد. اختلافات زیادی در رابطه با انرژی پیوند مولکول های مجاور دیده می شود به عنوان مثال انرژی پیوند مولکول اکسیژن چهار برابر انرژی تفکیک مولکول فلوئور است که مهمترین عامل کوچکی بیش از اندازه اتم فلوئور است که باعث شده دو هسته فلوئور وزوج های غیر پیوندی آنها زیاد به هم نزدیک بشوند ودافعه های موجود باعث شده پیوند خیلی سست باشد. از طرفی اکسیژن بعلت بزرگتر بودن این دافعه ها را نداشته و پیوند آن نیز دوگانه است.
