Comparison of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt dysfunction in PTFE-covered stent-grafts versus bare stents

One year shunt patency rate is improved with placement of ePTFE-covered stent-grafts without a higher rate of encephalopathy. Further prospective trials are required.
