Acute tension pneumothorax due to perforation of misdiagnosed traumatic diaphragmatic gastric hernia

We report a 52-year-old man with a tension pneumothorax and a shift of his entire mediastinum resulting from an intrathoracic perforation of the stomach, after a blunt trauma of the chest and a misdiagnosed traumatic diaphragmatic hernia.
