Characterization of extracellular lignocellulolytic enzymes of Coniochaeta sp. during corn stover bioconversion

► Extracellular lignocellulolytic enzymes of Coniochaeta sp. have been reported. ► Morphological and phylogenetic characterizations have been carried out. ► LC-MS/MS and emPAI based label-free quantitative proteomics approach was used. ► Cellulolytic, hemicellulolytic, proteolytic, lignolytic enzymes were identified. ► Secretome profile of strain revealed its lignocellulose degradation potential.
