Development of a two-band spectral imaging system for real-time citrus canker detection

► We developed a prototype for real-time citrus canker detection. ► The two-band system can inspect canker on fast moving grapefruits (5 fruits/s). ► The methodology and the hardware/software are effective for citrus canker detection. ► The detection accuracy is affected by the degree and the size of the peel diseases.
