Results of a training course for social workers on engaging fathers in child protection

► A training course was developed to improve work with fathers in child protection. ► The course included Motivational Interviewing skills and awareness-raising. ► There was improvement in social workers' self-efficacy for work with fathers. ► There was an increase in self-reported engagement of non-abusive men on caseloads.
