Poly (ethylene)-glycol conjugated solid lipid nanoparticles of noscapine improve biological half-life, brain delivery and efficacy in glioblastoma cells

Targeting brain cancer cells with a nanoparticulate drug delivery system is mandatory for successive chemotherapy. Here we evaluated the pharmacokinetic profile and efficacy of stealth solid lipid nanoparticles of noscapine. Stealth Solid lipid nanoparticles effectively targeted the noscapine in U87 glioblastoma cells following diffusion mechanism and enhanced the mean residence time of noscapine in brain.149
