Characterization of BSA unfolding and aggregation using a single-capillary viscometer and dynamic surface tension detector

► We implemented DSTD detector with a single capillary viscosity (SCV) detector. ► DSTD-SCV gives simultaneous, reliable measurements of surface tension and viscosity. ► DSTD-SCV uses a small volume of analyte (50-200 mL loop). ► DSTD-SCV detector can be implemented on flow injection (FIA) and HPLC instruments. ► Temperature-induced denaturation of BSA has different effects depending on pH.
