Deposition of iron titanate/titania ceramic composite thin films from a single molecular precursor

► An Fe-Ti heterobimetallic single source precursor is synthesized, characterized and introduced for fabrication of thin films. ► The complex decomposes at 500 °C under AACVD conditions to yield Fe2TiO5-TiO2 composite material. ► Films are smooth, compact and crystalline in nature with homogenously dispersed particles in size range of 0.105-0.120 μm.
