Direct large-scale synthesis of perovskite barium strontium titanate nano-particles from solutions

(Ba,Sr)TiO3 nano-particles, which exhibit a well-crystallized perovskite phase and are about 50 nm in diameter, can be synthesized via a near room temperature and ambient pressure chemical process. The process employs titanium alkoxide and alkali earth hydroxide as start materials.
