Development and optimization of biodegradable films based on achira flour

► Achira flour is an alternative source for the preparation of biodegradable films. ► Achira flour films presented lower WVP and solubility as compared to other tubers films. ► Good degree of incorporation of fibers within starch polymeric matrix was observed. ► The multi-response analysis methodology was satisfactory for achira flour films.
