Cellulose nanocrystals as a reinforcing material for electrospun poly(methyl methacrylate) fibers: Formation, properties and nanomechanical characterization
چکیده انگلیسی
► Electrospun PMMA/CNC fibers with various contents up to 41 wt% CNCs were produced. ► Nano-DMA was performed on single fibers to study CNC reinforcement; the current challenges associated with sub-micron single fiber nanoindentation were addressed. ► CNC orientation along the fiber axis was demonstrated by microscopy. ► Thermal analyses suggest influence of CNC-PMMA hydrogen bonding on fiber Tg.
