GC-MS detection and quantification of lipopolysaccharides in polysaccharides through 3-O-acetyl fatty acid methyl esters

► We developed a GC-MS assay that could detect LPS through its 3-OH fatty acids. ► We could successfully detected sub ng LPS amounts on polysaccharides samples. ► Using a standard curve we could measure the LPS amount on various polysaccharides.
