Characterization of insoluble calcium alginates by solid-state NMR

► We investigate insoluble Ca alginates by means of solid-state NMR. ► We assess the best NMR method to determine M/G ratio for insoluble alginates. ► Alginates with different Ca content are separated performing PCA of the 13C spectra.
