Synthesis and characterization of PCL-PLLA polyurethane with shape memory behavior

► Synthesis of a stimuli responsive polyurethane based on PCL-PLLA tri-block copolymer. ► PCL (soft segments) and PLLA (hard segments) synergetic combination for shape memory. ► Shape-memory is verified at strains 50%, 100%, 200% and 350% at 40 °C. ► This polyurethane shows strong shape-memory with potential biomedical applications.
