Dominant factors affecting the pressure dependence of melting temperatures in homologous series of aliphatic polyesters

► The pressure dependence of melting temperature was measured for aliphatic polyester series. ► The enthalpy and entropy of fusions, and volume change on melting were determined. ► The influence of them on dTm/dp was discussed on the basis of the Clapeyron equation. ► The relation between dTm/dp and number of methylene groups was found.
