Surface segregation of polypeptide-based block copolymer micelles: An approach to engineer nanostructured and stimuli responsive surfaces

► We describe the preparation of stimuli-responsive nanostructures at the polymer blend/air interfaces. ► We employed blends composed of homopolymer (PS) and an amphiphilic block copolymer PS-b-PGA. ► Through macrophase and microphase separation separated domains at the surface were obtained. ► The environmental pH affects the surface morphology inducing variations on the nano-scale topography of the films.
