Thermally stable glassy luminescent cyclotriphosphazenes

► Thermally stable luminescent cyclotriphosphazene (CPZ) derivatives were synthesized. ► CPZs are amorphous and possess excellent thermal stability. ► CPZs exhibit enhanced optical properties at high temperature environments. ► Undesirable green emission of CPZs caused by oxidation or aggregation is suppressed.
