Environment-friendly synthesis of amphiphilic polyester-graft-poly(vinyl alcohol)

► PVA/MgH2 is an efficient initiating system for ROP of lactone. ► Synthesis of PVA-g-PLLA in melt is an environment-friendly process. ► PVA is not degraded and L-LA is incorporated as isotactic monomers units. ► PVA-g-PLLA show good amphiphilic properties.
