Stress and defect induced enhanced low field magnetoresistance and dielectric constant in La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 thin films

► Structural, magnetic and transport properties of La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 films are reported. ► LSMO properties on three substrates with different deposition conditions are compared. ► Enhanced low field magnetoresistance and dielectric constant are observed. ► Introduction of defects can lead to new route for different materials fabrication.
