Electromagnetic models and inversion techniques for Titan's Ontario Lacus depth estimation from Cassini RADAR data

► We analyze SAR data to retrieve optical thickness of the liquid hydrocarbon layer. ► We use IEM model combined with wave spectra and a Bayesian inversion approach. ► We use a semi-empirical model based on a double-layer description. ► We compare these models to study the physical properties of surface liquid surfaces. ► We infer by extension the lake depth and volume estimation.
