Saturn's high degree magnetic moments: Evidence for a unique planetary dynamo

► Degree 4 and 5 axial magnetic moments for Saturn are derived for the first time. ► The first three odd degree axial moments share the same sign, which is unique to Saturn. ► The magnetic flux inside Saturn is strongly concentrated near the spin-poles. ► A mechanically driven dynamo shows intriguingly similar field properties as observed at Saturn.
