Nuclear translocation of DJ-1 during oxidative stress-induced neuronal cell death
چکیده انگلیسی
► Upon 6-OHDA treatment, DJ-1 is translocated into the nucleus in dopaminergic cells. ► Antioxidant inhibits the 6-OHDA-mediated nuclear translocation of DJ-1. ► Ectopic expression of DJ-1 prevents 6-OHDA-induced cell death. ► Upon 6-OHDA treatment, localization and binding of DJ-1 to PML bodies increased. ► Overexpressed DJ-1 causes decreased expression of PUMA upon 6-OHDA treatment.
