Noninvasive assessment of localized inflammatory responses

► L-012, a highly-sensitive chemiluminescence probe, can be used to monitor localized inflammation responses in vivo. ► There are good correlations between chemiluminescent signals and histology observations. ► L-012 chemiluminescence can be employed to quantify localized inflammatory reactions. ► This imaging method would greatly reduce the numbers of animals needed for inflammation research.
