Glycogen synthase kinase-3β activation mediates rotenone-induced cytotoxicity with the involvement of microtubule destabilization

► A GSK3β inhibitor attenuates rotenone-induced cytotoxicity in SH-SY5Y cells. ► That also decreases phosphorylated tau induced by rotenone. ► Rotenone cytotoxicity is mediated by microtubule destabilization via GSK3β activation.
