Copy number of adenoviral vector genome transduced into target cells can be measured using quantitative PCR: Application to vector titration

► The copy number of internalized adenoviral vector DNA can be measured using qPCR. ► Viral DNA and inactivated viral particles on the cell surface can be washed out. ► Titration method of the adenoviral vector using quantitative PCR was established. ► The viral titer shows the transduced copy number of viral genome in target cells. ► Current titration methods may be replaced by this new titration method using qPCR.
