miR-30 inhibits TGF-β1-induced epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition in hepatocyte by targeting Snail1

► miR-30 downregulated during the TGF-β1-induced EMT in AML12 murine hepatocytes. ► Induction of Snail1 correlated with miR-30 downregulation in the TGF-β1-induced EMT. ► miR-30 negatively regulated the expression of Snail1 by direct targeting its 3′UTR. ► Introduction of miR-30 mimics inhibited the TGF-β1-induced EMT in AML12 cells.
