Serum profiling based on fucosylated glycoproteins for differentiating between chronic hepatitis B and hepatocellular carcinoma

► We established a serum fucosylated glycoproteomics profiling in HCC. ► The MALDI-TOF MS profiling has been established using LCA magnetic beads. ► We demonstrated that defucosylation occurred in certain glycoproteins in HCC. ► This proteomic profiling distinguished HCC from controls with high accuracy.
