Both the Fab and Fc domains of IgG are essential for ROS emission from TNF-α-primed neutrophils by IVIG

► IVIG induces emission of reactive oxygen species (ROS) from TNF-α-primed neutrophils. ► Monomeric IgG in IVIG can induce ROS emissions from TNF-α-primed neutrophils. ► Both Fab and Fc domains of IVIG are essential for the ROS emission of neutrophils. ► IVIG binding to antigen(s) and FcγIIIB receptors on neutrophils induces ROS emission.
