Protective potential of resveratrol against oxidative stress and apoptosis in Batten disease lymphoblast cells

► Resveratrol increased SOD-1 and reduced GRP78/BiP in Batten disease (BD) cells. ► Resveratrol down-regulated the apoptosis marker proteins, such as AIF, cytochrome c, and PARP. ► We identified resveratrol was protective against oxidative stress and apoptosis in BD cells.
