Identification of the Drosophila and Tribolium receptors for the recently discovered insect RYamide neuropeptides

► We have previously discovered a new class of insect neuropeptides, the RYamides. ► These neuropeptides have the C-terminal FFXXXRFamide consensus sequence. ► Here, we have identified the insect RYamide receptors from Drosophila and Tribolium. ► We have, thus, identified a new neuropeptide signaling system in insects.
