Biomarker signatures of mitochondrial NDUFS3 in invasive breast carcinoma

► We monitored mitochondrial NDUFS3 expression in clinical breast cancer specimens. ► NDUFS3 expression is significantly higher in highly invasive cancer specimens. ► Increased NDUFS3 expression correlates with tumor nuclear grade. ► NDUFS3 expression in invasive ductal carcinoma is a potential hypoxia marker.
