The PWAPA cassette: Intimate association of a PHD-like finger and a winged-helix domain in proteins included in histone-modifying complexes

► We identified a novel family of domain cassette, made of PHD-like+winged-helix domains. ► This cassette is present in proteins included in histone-modifying complexes. ► It might be involved in the combined recognition of DNA and histone marks.
