Lipoprotein (a) is a risk factor for coronary artery disease in Chinese Han ethnic population modified by some traditional risk factors: A cross-sectional study of 3462 cases and 6125 controls

The Lp (a) distribution in Chinese Han population differs from that in Caucasian populations. The higher Lp (a) level is a confirmative risk factor for CAD, which can be modified by some risk factors in Chinese Han population. Our study provides direct evidence for differential approach to higher Lp (a) levels in Chinese.
