Cytoprotective effect of the small GTPase RhoB expressed upon treatment of fibroblasts with the Ras-glucosylating Clostridium sordellii lethal toxin

► C. sordellii lethal Toxin induces expression of the cell death-regulating GTPase RhoB. ► RhoB expression is based on tracscriptional activation and involves p38 MAP kinase. ► RhoB is rapidly degraded in a proteasome- and a caspase-dependent manner. ► RhoB suppresses caspase-3 activation in TcsL-treated cells.
