El proceso de creación del Instituto Pasteur (1886-1888) según la prensa española de la época

With the discovery of the human rabies vaccine, Louis Pasteur (1822-1895) introduced a new perspective, inaugurating the second phase of vaccinology. The impact of his discovery was amplified by the press, which represented him as a universal hero and man of science. This study explores how the initiative to create an institute in Paris bearing Pasteur's name was represented in the Spanish press during the period 1886-1888. The institute was initially dedicated to the study and treatment of rabies and was later widened to include other diseases and their vaccinations.
