Vaccination against hepatitis B with 4-double doses increases response rates and antibodies titers in HIV-infected adults

► We evaluated response using a 4-double dose HBV vaccination in HIV-infected people. ► Increased response rates and higher antibody titers were observed with this regimen. ► Undetectable HIV-1 viral load was predictor of protection and higher antibody titers. ► A 4-double dose HBV vaccination should be considered in the public health setting.
