Mucosal antibodies induced by tandem repeat of 2F5 epitope block transcytosis of HIV-1

► We designed immunogens composed of CTB and tandem repeat of 2F5 epitope. ► The immunogens contained more epitopes elicited higher level of epitope specific IgA. ► Mucosal ELDKWA-epitope specific antibodies could block the transcytosis of HIV-1.
