Epstein-Barr virus genome load is increased by therapeutic vaccination in HIV-l carriers, and further enhanced in patients with a history of symptomatic primary infection

► Therapeutic HIV-vaccination is related to an increase of EBV genome load. ► This effect is also observed with adjuvant alone. ► A history of symptomatic PHI further enhances this effect.
