Evaluation of an improved rapid neutralizing antibody detection test (RAPINA) for qualitative and semiquantitative detection of rabies neutralizing antibody in humans and dogs

► Novel method (RAPINA) to measure rabies virus neutralizing antibody (VNA) values in the vaccinees' sera. ► RAPINA had quite high sensitivity and specificity compared with conventional method. ► RAPINA is an easy to use and quick method which can measure the VNA values. ► RAPINA will be useful and effective tool for epidemiological surveys or to determine the need for immunization in humans or animals.
