Expertise médico-légale dans les amputations péniennes criminelles

Cases of criminal penis amputation are uncommon in French and international literature. We report the case of a 32-year-old man victim of penile amputation with the opening of a criminal procedure on the count of indictment of voluntary violence (Proceedings on the charge of aggravated assault) resulting inflicted mutilation. The medical expert answers to the technical questions posed by the judge in his mission. In addition to criminal proceedings, the victim may claim damages. The application of the Dintilhac nomenclature, in this case, allows better compensation approaching closer to the reality of the damage.
