Interdiction d'utilisation des corps humains à des fins d'exposition

The French Justice has been questioned about an artistic exhibition, which takes place in Paris and was exposing skinned bodies in different anatomic positions. Two human rights' associations asked to the Justice to stop it immediately as it was attending to the human corpse integrity, dignity and respect. Law decisions about this subject are not so frequent to deserve to be commented and more especially as, on the opposite of what was expected, judges accepted to stop the exhibition. The legal bases were first that the defunct did not consent to this utilisation, and second, that the human corpse has not been protected after the death. Does that mean, on the contrary, that if people consent during their life, their body can be used any way on any purpose?
