Application of Modified Mesoporous Silica Materials for Analysis of Small Molecules by MALDI-TOF-MS

1,8-Naphthalic anhydride reacted with 3-trimethoxysilyl-1-amine to form 1,8-naphthalimide which was modified on the SBA-15 to form SBA-15-NA. A mesoporous silica matrix was used for matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry analysis.
