Evaluation of the residual solvent content of counterfeit tablets and capsules

- Counterfeit tablets and capsules were screened for residual solvents.
- Detected solvents were quantified.
- Counterfeit tablets and capsules have significantly higher concentrations of residual solvents than genuine ones.
- In some toxic amount of residual solvents were detected.
